Swim
  • 10m 11s
  • 547 yards
  • 01m 52s / 100 yards
Comments:

Felt like a moderate pace. Was not warmed up at start do to long wait. Still could not b/l breath.
What would you do differently?:

Start slightly faster to get behind a better class of swimmer. Warm up more.
Transition 1
  • 01m 4s
What would you do differently?:

Bike racked all the way at the end. Need to secure better position.
Bike
  • 39m 32s
  • 12.43 miles
  • 18.87 mile/hr
What would you do differently?:

Went moderate for 10 minutes. Should have pushed sooner. I let up once inside the park. Should have pushed for a bit longer.
Transition 2
  • 00m 36s
Comments:

A little trouble getting left shoe on. Need a little body glide around rim of shoe.
What would you do differently?:

Lost shoe jumping off bike. Need to tighten clips a little.
Run
  • 26m 12s
  • 3.11 miles
  • 08m 25s  min/mile
Comments:

Cut off a mile because I followed the kid in front of me. Run course directors were not watching us. New run course was NOT posted online before race. Run map not posted widely at site. I should have made sure to double check the route. Many people complaining after the race. My friends said they had to stop and ask which way to go during the race. The 10 minute penalty is a fair amount but had I not made a wrong turn I would have turned in a PB around 1:15 instead of being around 1:17.
What would you do differently?:

Get to the site earlier. Always double check the route. Perhaps not do anymore 3D races. Last year weeds and this year a horrible run course.
Post race
What limited your ability to perform faster:

Pacing issues on the bike. I did have a few small cramps at the start of the run.

Event comments:

Weeds last year and terrible run course this year.
