Swim
Comments: Swim was tough. I need to spend more time focusing on my swim. I feel like if I can get in the water more I should be able to reduce my time by 45 seconds. What would you do differently?: Swim more. Transition 1
Comments: Good transition. Had a little trouble getting my bike out. Overall I am happy with it. What would you do differently?: Make sure my bike is setup up so I can get it out easily Bike
Comments: Good ride. I was a full mph higher this year. Played leap frog with 2 other guys for most of the race. I think I maybe had a little left in me and could have pushed harder. What would you do differently?: Maybe push a little harder. Trying to find the balance between the bike and run is always a challenge for me. Transition 2
Comments: Good transition. Running on the shells/gravel to get to the transition area is always interesting. What would you do differently?: Try to shave about 10 seconds off the transition. Run
Comments: Good run. Goal was to be under 7min and closer to 6:45. I think I need to push myself a little harder in the run. What would you do differently?: Train harder, push myself harder in the race Post race
Warm down: Nothing really. Cheered for some of the other athletes. Met up with family. Had a bagel and apple What limited your ability to perform faster: Swim training and mental toughness on the run. Event comments: I really enjoy this race. They do a great job with it every year. It's even better when J, Lyn, Camryn, and Kierstyn are in town for the race. Looking forward to next year when I break 1 hour!!! Last updated: 2011-05-03 12:00 AM
