Swim was good. I thought i would be a little faster, but the chop slowed me down a little. choked on a couple breakers that came over my head. Got caught behind some slower swimmers at the start.
What would you do differently?:

start toward the front of the pack.

Pretty slow at this stage. I was 8th in my age group. I need to learn to ride sockless.
What would you do differently?:

Learn to ride sockless, and run faster from the water to the bike.

this was my fastest average speed on a bike course at 19.8 mph so i was happy with that. The faster bike in my age group was 22.1 mph so i felt like I was able to hang in there even though I'm riding a road bike and not in full on aero position.
What would you do differently?:

Look into getting a tri bike to gain a few mph in a more aero position.

After race i put my Yankz back on my shoes. I should be able to save about 20 seconds with them.

Do more speed work during training.
