Comments: Legs felt dead for the 1st 15 miles or so. I kept looking to see if I had a flat tire. Rank for M/W/E -- 214/304 Guess I have some work to do! What would you do differently?: bike more in the off-season. bike more hills Transition 2
Comments: Again - a tad slower Age Group Rank - 6/12 AG Women -- 31/49 M/W/E Rank -- 164/304 What would you do differently?: Maybe try the yanks laces? Run
Comments: Overall M/W/E rank -- 139/304 Felt good. Only 1 person passed me. A VERY fast older woman who was very vocal in her breathing pattern. Distracting. What would you do differently?: Push a little harder. Maybe could have caught 3rd place.... Post race
Warm down: walk around getting food/drink. Cheer on friends still on the course What limited your ability to perform faster: Bike fitness - or maybe just the bike today? Event comments: This was the 4th annual. I did the sprint in '08 and '10. This is the 1st year doing the olympic. They get better with their organization every year. It is a really tough course. Toughest I have done - including the Door County 1/2 Iron -- which is tough in its own right. I enjoyed myself. I missed the extra short bike of the sprint though. We'll see what I do next year. Maybe I could get to an age group award in the oly. Was 2nd in my AG last year for the sprint. Maybe go back to that??? Last updated: 2011-05-04 12:00 AM
