Run
Comments: Start was a little sketchy. 1st 1/2 mile was pretty much weaving through traffic. I was pretty much passing people the entire day even though I was seeded in corral A. I held a pretty steady pace all day right aroudn 6:12-6:15 as I had planned through 12 miles. For mile 13 I had a lot left and put down a 5:45 to close. What would you do differently?: Get to the corral sooner to get a spot at the front. Push harder through 12. Post race
Warm down: Stretched in the park and waited to meet up with the rest of the running club What limited your ability to perform faster: Didn't know how fast I could go. Didn't have the confidence to push each mile faster than 6:10. Event comments: The Indy Mini is an event worth attending. They have so many volunteers along the way and so many people cheering that the race goes by in no time. Last updated: 2011-05-09 12:00 AM

Out of bed at 4:30am for a 7:30am race start. Banana and a double scoop glass of Perpetum for breakfast. 16 oz of gatoraid to drink during the drive. Met up with the Columbus Running Club at 5:00am to carpool up to Indy
Started warming up at 6:30am. Jogged about 1 mile to the bag check. Put on my racing shoes and checked my post race gear. Went to the staging area and continued to warm up for about 30 minutes. Dynamic stretches, Knee huggers, but kickers, toe touchers and some pick-ups. Went to the corrals and tried to stay loose until race start
