Comments:

Things went pretty well. This was a better format than the other pool swims I've done. It is difficult to get into the correct lane if you are not positioned correctly when you hit the wall. On the other hand if you are in the rght position you can pass 3 at once. I kept on getting into a bad position to pass a guy w/ 100 to go. I just decided to draft and relax instead of forcing the issue.
What would you do differently?:

post a better 300 time when registering.

I'm fairly pleased with the run. I'm dog slow... but faster by 1 - 1:15 faster per mile than last year.
What would you do differently?:

now that i've got some run base, maybe it is time for some speed work.

Stretched and walked around with Andy. Just kept moving to keep from cramping up.

The venue was really nice. (well of course it is since it is 8 miles from my house). The race was well organized and at an excellent facility.

Course: the course was just as i had stated on my training log, bu ttoday the wind direction was from the north instead of the south. this made the course much better to ride.
