Pre-race routine:

Wake-up for 3:45 am. Finished packing the bag, loaded the bike on the rack and picked up a friend.
Event warmup:

Swam a little in the lake before the start to get used to the water which was very warm.

First OWS. Overall I will take it. Sighting was tough as you could barely see you hands in front of your face. The water was really warm like bath water.

Definitely a hot run. Started out well and felt great on the trail. They did a great job of spray painting in bright orange as many tree roots as possible. That was a big help.

Just work on getting faster on the run.
