Pre-race routine:

Woke up at 2:30am, drove from Irving, TX to Wichita Falls, TX from 3am to 5:15am. Ate breakfast at the event (it was tasty!), picked up bib numbers, geared up, and got to the starting line by 6:15am.
Event warmup:

Well, the first 5 miles were jam packed with plenty of riders, so it worked well as a warm up.

Event comments:

This was an incredible event and at $30 the value you receive is outstanding! I got a shirt, a water bottle, 10 fully stocked rest stops with food, water, gatorade, and most importantly ICE! Everything started on time and the pre- and post-ride events were great. I even found a jersey for $5!

Great event, and I will attend every year I live in Texas, for sure!
