Pre-race routine:

Got to transition early, didn't realize that check in was a mile away, rode bike in running shoes to get there, fumbled with race numbers and chip, got set up fine, but everything got wet because it was raining.

took way too much time in transition, as this was my first tri, didn't know how cold I would get, especially since it was cold and raining. I eventually just stopped trying to put on clothes and left. Turned out I was plenty warm except my feet, which were numb by the end due to cold and rain.
What would you do differently?:

don't put on so many clothes! I was plenty warm.

Nice course except for the 3 RR crossings each lap. Freezing cold and wet on the feet, spray from tires not as bad as expected.
