Pre-race routine:

Up early, ate a normal breakfast and headed out to the race site. Got there plenty early to get a good parking spot, get my chip, and set up transition.
Event warmup:

Did some light running to get the heart rate up followed by stretching. I was able to get into the water several minutes before my wave to get a few strokes in before the start.

I would have worn a HRM and tri top into the water under suit. This was a killer in T-1

I should have been more aggressive. I was only passed once, which is always a good sign, but at the same time I think I became a little lax because of this.

Course: Nice course... a couple of little hills, but nothing of any consequence. There were some trails where it was difficult to pass, but there were opportunities there as well.
