AT 500M GOT KICK IN THE FACE DOWN WENT THE GOGGLES AND OUT WENT MY CONTACT. I LOST MY GROVE AND NEVER COULD GET IT BACK. I STRUGGLED THE REST OF THE SWIM.
What would you do differently?:

TRAIN MORE ON THE SWIM SO WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THAT HAPPENS I WILL BE MORE CONFIDENT TO RECOVER.

RLAX AND NOT WORRY ABOUT THE BAD SWIM I JUST DID.

STOP AND USE THE RESTROOM AND NOT TRY TO TOUGH IT OUT. MIGHT HAVE RUN BETTER.

NONE JUMPED INTO THE CAR AND DROVE BACK HOME.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

LACK OF TRAINING ON THE SWIM AND I NEED TO BLOW THINGS OFF AND NOT LET THEM BOTHER ME. IT WAS MY FIRST OLY DISTANCE SO I HAVE A STARTING POINT TO IMPROVE ON.
