Pre-race routine:

the usual oatmeal and pb bagel. got to the race early and set up. helped a friend with his first tri. socializing.
Event warmup:

4 mile bike spin. not able to do much else since i was helping friend with a borrowed wheel.

first race on the new renn disc. felt fast and strong the whole way. love the sound of the disc! the course was just a bit longer than 13 miles and my average was 24.51 mph. fastest avg. split ever!

drink lots and walk the legs out. cheer on the huge tri club group.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

mediocre swim. didn't push the run.

Event comments:

i love this race! best organization around and a really cool venue. lots of people from the tri club make the weekend a great time:)
