What would you do differently?: Practise more in a 50 meter pool.. Transition 1
Comments: No running allowed in transition area. Walking bike in shoes takes longer. What would you do differently?: I felt it was a good transition.. Bike
Comments: Followed my coaches advice to ride easy enough to have a good run...I could have gone harder on the bike. Overall I am pleased with this segment. Transition 2
Comments: Had to walk bike in transition zone.. Everyone did as it was the organizers rule. Run
Comments: I thought I was having a good run. Started nice and strong. Faded at about 1.5 km.. Walked a bit. Then ran again.. finished with a strong sprint.. But still I am a very slow runner. What would you do differently?: Lose weight train on running more.. Post race
Warm down: Light snack of banana, Hammer recovery drink. Little pacing. What limited your ability to perform faster: Excess body weight. Event comments: There seemed to ba fewer volunteers at this race than the last one I did here. Maybe cause of summer break. Overall a good race I love the bike course and running through the park was a treat. I think they could have had 2 more water stations on the run but other than that a nice course.
