Comments: time incl. going over timing mat to get to pool lane and getting out of pool to run to timing mat on way to TA. What would you do differently?: swim faster and breath every other stroke for entire distance. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: TA was close to swim in and bike out, but socks and bike shoes took time to get on. What would you do differently?: socks/shoes on faster. ![]() Bike
Comments: Road surface had some holes, which thankfully were marked. Had biked the course 1 time prior to the race. What would you do differently?: Ride the hilly course multiple times. Push myself the entire time and pull up on those pedals! ![]() Transition 2
Comments: After bike dismount, had to run with bike for a while prior to racking bike on other side of TA. Then had to run the opposite direction out of TA to run over timing mat. What would you do differently?: Put on race belt while running out of TA. Practice running with bike on grass. ![]() Run
Comments: Drank Heed one time and rest of time poured water on my head to stay cool. Sun with no shade on most of run. What would you do differently?: More hill workouts! ![]() Post race
Warm down: Ate orange slices, 1/2 banana and water. Talked to my husband and rest of family. Stretched legs out. What limited your ability to perform faster: Time spent training on road bike. Sun out and no shade on the run. Event comments: Will consider this race next year! Fun race:) Last updated: 2011-06-01 12:00 AM
