Total Time = 1h 05m 28s
Overall Rank = 18/685
Age Group = 20-24
Age Group Rank = 1/14
Pre-race routine:

Set up transition, find timing chip, put on wetsuit.
Event warmup:

Splash in the water for like 30 seconds.
Swim
  • 10m 21s
  • 440 yards
  • 02m 21s / 100 yards
Comments:

The water was choppy, it was a crowded swim with a lot of bumping going on, navigation was somewhat difficult, my breathing was thrown off by the big waves and attempts to navigate, swallowing several mouth-fulls of salt water didn't help anything either. The water was very temperate and enjoyable.
What would you do differently?:

Get better at swimming in choppy water, practice OWSs more leading up to the event.
Transition 1
  • 00m
Comments:

I practiced getting out of the wetsuit but the left ankle still stuck, the right foot slid right out though. I lost an earplug...
What would you do differently?:

Bodyglide? Otherwise nothing.
Bike
  • 32m 23s
  • 10 miles
  • 18.53 mile/hr
Comments:

Biking is definitely a weakness of mine and I put a lot of effort into training for it before this race, and it paid off. I pushed as hard as I could and got a decent result, though my ultimate goal is to break 20 mph.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, just gotta keep training.
Transition 2
  • 00m
Comments:

Love those lock laces!
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, it was very smooth.
Run
  • 22m 43s
  • 3.5 miles
  • 06m 29s  min/mile
Comments:

I was pretty gassed from pushing so hard on the bike, and the run felt more challenging than it did in my last tri (King Pine), but I still got a decent result.
What would you do differently?:

Nothing, I pushed as hard as I could and did by best.
Post race
Warm down:

Walked around trying to find my dad and cheer on the other competitors.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Slooooow swim, other than that everything went well.

Event comments:

I thought I had finished the run then realized it wasn't done... other competitors had this issue too and eventually they stationed someone there to help with that. Overall the organization was good, I had a lot of fun (which was my main goal!).
