Comments: Swim went fine. I thought I might be able to do it a little faster but I felt good coming out of the water. What would you do differently?: Nothing aside from keep working on my shoulder flexibility and keep swimming. Transition 1
Comments: My fastest sprint T1 that I can remember but I can keep shaving seconds off. Bike
Comments: Slower than last year by 56 seconds but I trained through the race so I wasn't expecting to necessarily be able to put up the same time as I did on fresh legs. What would you do differently?: Ride more in the early spring. Transition 2
Comments: Nothing much to say about T2. Run
Comments: I was hoping to puch it under 24 but i faded a few seconds per mile each mile. Tired legs didn't help. I also didn't really go for broke out there either. The only uncomfortable portion was the 3 minute climb up the hill after mile 2. What would you do differently?: Not slack off coming out of marathon training! Post race
Warm down: Went home and rode the bike to get the rest of my scheduled bike training in for the day. What limited your ability to perform faster: Lack of training in April and May. Tired legs from IM build. Event comments: Great local race that I will keep doing. Last updated: 2011-06-07 12:00 AM
