Comments: Huge bottleneck at first bouy. Not real fast swim for me due to lack of training. What would you do differently?: Need to be in better shape but not too bad a swim considering. Transition 1

Comments: Bottleneck of people stopped and getting on bikes at mounting line. Ran through and past them for a running start. This ride was a struggle all the way through. Saddle broke and was slanted all the way down. Couldn't stay aero. Very uncomfortable due to poor training also. What would you do differently?: Train properly Transition 2
Comments: Got to rack and another bike was in my place. Had to hunt for a place to rack my bike. Forgot sunglasses on the way out and had to go back to rack and get them. Run
Comments: Tripped over my own feet and fell onto concrete just out of T2. Just couldn't get going comfortably after that and had to walk here and there. Very uncomfortable run. What would you do differently?: Train properly and not be such a klutz. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and drank recovery drink. What limited your ability to perform faster: I am OUT OF SHAPE - haven't trained nearly enough all season and it shows. Just a bad day for me though it was a great race. Event comments: This is a great race. Well organized and a beautiful venue. Plenty of volunteers and moral support. This race gets better every year. Up at 4. Grits, yogurt, caffeine. Got to venue early.
Ran twice around the block and stretched in between. Swam for about ten minutes. Race started late and changed warmup plan.
