Woke up at 6am. Bowl of redneck oatmeal (instant grits) and powerade.
Event warmup:

Maybe a hundred or two yards of jogging.

Comments:

Fine. Gave it what I had. Should have hit the port-a-potty before the race. Wound up having to jump off in the bushes because my eyeballs were floating. Never had to do that in a 10K before.
What would you do differently?:

Use the restroom before the race.

Warm down:

I'm not very good about warm downs. Just got some fluids and cookies and chatted with some folks, then went home.

Event comments:

This is a very fun course - simply not your ordinary 10K (about 6-10 minutes slower due to the challenging terrain).
