Run
Comments: I was seduced by the first two miles but secretly knew I was going too fast. Did not pay attention to my plan and in summary ran too fast the first 6 miles and then paid for it with the heat and hills for the rest of the race. Worst race I have ever ran. What would you do differently?: Better training, better discipline while racing. Post race
Warm down: Walked back to car and then had brunch in Ann Arbor. What limited your ability to perform faster: Injury to knee about 1 month prior to race curtailed amount of running I was able to do. My own stupidity limited my ability to run a smart race. Event comments: Beautiful course - great volunteers - nice difficulty with the rollers. Last updated: 2011-06-12 12:00 AM

You have to catch a bus to from Ann Arbor to the high school in Dexter for the start of the race. Potty breaks, sipping on gatorade, hanging out.
Milling around the start, jogging across the feild for a potty break. Gel at 30 minutes to start, gel at 15 minutes to start. Both washed down with water.
