What would you do differently?:

Need more open water practice. Very cold - tried to warm up adequately but it was difficult. Ran into an athlete having a panic attack, which freaked me out.

Event comments:

Race itself was fun and well-organized. However, there was misinformation and last-minute changes on the website. Also, the timing was screwed up (I believe the timing company is also run by the race directors). No results for 24 hours, no splits for over 2 days and then they were inaccurate. Probably would not do another race by this company because of the pre- and post-race issues, even though the race itself was well-run.
