Comments: The swim had a long run to the transition (timing mat), which definitely added to the swim time. None the less, I need to improve on my swim. This was my worst swim of any race. I need to push harder. What would you do differently?: Practice more and push harder Transition 1

Comments: Started run good, but couldn't maintain the pace. I need to push myself harder. No excuses, but I wonder if running 12 miles the day before the race affected my run. What would you do differently?: not run long the day before a race Post race

This race was only 40 minutes from my house. I woke up loaded my bike and went. Stopped on the way for some breakfast. I got to the race parked, picked up the timing chip and got my body markings. I set up my transition, then went for a warmup swim.
