Comments: I felt good went strong for the first shot out to the turn boui than a slowed down , I lost confidence to keep up my speed at second boui I picked up the speeed and was strong in, I found it hard to draft as most people were just in my way What would you do differently?: go a little stronger in the 2nd third Transition 1
Comments: I put on my shoes before I left my stall, the wetsuite got stuck and I fell while taking it off, I went with socks this time as I was concerned with the longer distance, I also used my bike gloves. What would you do differently?: I need to work on this I need to get the suite off faster, I need to learn how to get on the bike and than put on my shoes, I do not even know what it means when they say Helmet on, suit off At same time Bike
Comments: I felt great for the first lap and 1/2 I was tired the second half of the second lap, I felt good for my first Tri. What would you do differently?: Train harder at distance, I think if I build my endurance my first lap was 1:28:22 or about a 2:56:44 pace I think if I got stronger I could be in the 2:55 range I would also drink more the first lap, I did nto feel thursty so I did not drink till the second lap I think i need to deel with this like the food and have a drink schedule based on the idstance and the heat. Comments: I did not take myu shoes off till i got back to my stall, I had to bring the bike to a full stop to get off, I was winded and walked my bike in. What would you do differently?: I need to practice this better and probably get a different set of shoes that I can get in and out of, I also need to not be so tired when I get off the bike, I think this may be water mgt Run
Comments: The heat was killing my, I found it a mental struggle in the middle,at the water statin at mile one my left leg cramped, not bad I was able to walk it off, the first 3 miles or so I was strong and ran well up to the station and walked through miles 4 to 11 I struggled and walked a lot more than I would have liked, it was physically hard but I think I could have ran a little more. The end I was in pain but the mental struggle was less when I could feel the end. What would you do differently?: think it would be easier the next time as I now know I can, I also need to learn to deal with the heat, this is not the frst race where heat has zapped me, not sure how to work with this but I need to improve this, also I think it would be best to not stop at every water station in the beginning i think if i went at a 9 to 10 min pace I should have made it to station 3 or 4 before I stopped.
