beautiful day for a run. mid 40's when we took off. finished in the low 70's. great course. hills were not too intimidating.
What would you do differently?:

train to run it better.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

lack of cool weather to train. hard to run in the heat this summer. Mornings were very warm also.

Very well supported race. great course. wonderful volunteers and staff.

Course: Through downtown Kansas City, Mo. the Plaza, Westport, mission hills, brush creek. really scenic. Would have like to run it faster but at the pace I went I was able to interact with the spectators and volunteers. I smiled most of the way. What a great day!
