i decided to not go all out. i went harder in my last race and it didn't really save much time. it only tires me for T1 and bike start

if i had to change one thing - push a litle harder on the first half

i took the time to put on socks. I also stopped to adjust a shoe before leaving T2. the efforts were worth the time spent.

i will practice getting the socks and shoes on quickly w/o need to adjust

i was happy to be on soft surface with a foot injury. i want to go faster but i haven't gotten back up to pace since teh injury.

I was not mentally prepared for this race. I thought it was a sprint until a week ago. I didn't prepare my race stuff or rest the day before. But like always when the gun went off i clicked into attack mode.
It was nice seeing Robin , Keith and my friend Rick at the race.
