What would you do differently?: not try a new sport drink day of race..made me a little nauseated.. and i started out too fast... next time just race my race and not worry about anyone else. Transition 1
Comments: even though it took me a few seconds longer.. Putting on everything for the run as well helped save time later. What would you do differently?: Find a way to carry my inhaler without needing a fanny pack. Bike
Comments: Nex time bring more fluids.. I was a little dehydrated by the end of the bike.. What would you do differently?: more fluids Transition 2
Comments: little time spent here as i had all my run gear on.. all i had to do was hop off, run in and ditch the bike and helmut. What would you do differently?: nothin i like this transition Run
Comments: SO GLAD I practiced running in the heat. What would you do differently?: steeper hill repeats to do that damn dam. Post race
Warm down: walked around for quite a bit afterwards.. stretched.. recharged with gatorade and a PB on Wheat bagel What limited your ability to perform faster: hydration... learn to stick with what i know and to quit experimenting with it. Got up and ate my breakfast like all races... relaxed and logged onto FB and Sparkpeople to keep my nerves down.
walked around alot.. streteched in the transition area.
