Comments:

Soggy run from beach to bike. I liked the way I transitioned from swim to run 1 - put shoes on while still in the beach transition area, which made it a little easier to get out of the sand. The 2nd run was tough for me.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

heat, unusual format; being intimidated and letting metal/attitude slow me down. I was dreading the ocean swim and the second run and that made them that much harder to complete.

Event comments:

I'm not sure I like this double sprint format too much, but it was a good challenge for me.
