Still using clips and couldn't get my foot into the second one at first because my shoes were wet on the bottom.
What would you do differently?:

Not get my sock wet!
Not sure what was so slow about this one other than I couldn't get my socks and shoes on very quickly.

Got stuck behind someone at the dismount line. Dropped my Garmin trying to transfer it from my bike to my wrist. Futzed with some sport beans I probably didn't need.

Just smooth things out.

My Garmin read 1.87 miles but I think I may have inadvertently stopped it at one point.Not crazy about running on concrete.
What would you do differently?:

Manage my watch better so I know better where I am relative to the end.I think I could've pushed a little harder given it was only 2 miles.

What limited your ability to perform faster:

Mostly my mental performance and the humidity during the run.

Event comments:

I really enjoy this series because it is low pressure and everyone is so nice. I'm not sure if I would make the drive again next year but I would certainly recommend it to other women.
