Swim
Comments: Wasn't as fast I thought I was in the water. Had several swimmers catch up to me and had to let them pass, breaking the flow of my swim. Could not relax. Ended my swim more winded than I expected. Overall OK swim. What would you do differently?: Train more in the water. Wasn't as prepared as I thought I was. Transition 1
Comments: i read an article advising to take a little extra time making sure you have everything right coming out of T1. 'several extra seconds ensuring everthing is correct is better than losing a handful of minutes fixing something that isn't right'. i took to heart to take that 'extra time' and ended up taking waaaay too long. note to self: idiot! What would you do differently?: leave the shirt off and forget i ever read that article. Bike
Comments: this segment went well considering i was riding a trek mtn bike on slicks. What would you do differently?: get a 2nd job to be able to invest in a nice road bike. Transition 2

Warm down: hamburgers and hotdogs! What limited your ability to perform faster: insuffient training. (i.e. kids), worrying about family waiting too long. Event comments: Great race, very well organized. i was hoping there would be more activites after the race for the kids. its hard for wife and kids waiting for a long period of time waiting for their slow dad to finish.
