Comments: Swim okay for first half but had a tough time when breathing got heavier - relaxed and then finished okay. Practice swim was very helpful What would you do differently?: Will get a wetsuit with full sleeves Transition 1

Comments: Solid bike with minimal IT Band pain. I was still slow but without a tri bike and clips I am happy and know that I could be in the top 5 with better gear. IT Band was good until the last 4 miles Transition 2
Comments: It was okay but What would you do differently?: I stopped for food that I could have taken on the bike Run
Comments: I had to take an extra walk in the last mile. At a pace of over 10 min that is not acceptable. I was 2 minutes slower than the next slowest runner - I have work to do. The IT Band was sore at the start and painful by the 2nd mile What would you do differently?: Just keep working on my training I should have used the biofreeze Post race
Warm down: it was pouring ran I had a massage and legs were okay but back was very tight What limited your ability to perform faster: IT Band was very sore but recovered nicely Event comments: They did a good job despite what became a hard rain starting early during the bike.
