Comments: First 500 yards were mentally tough, but as soon as i started breathing every stroke and worked my way through the crowds i settled into a much more comfortable pace, and felt really good for the final 1000 What would you do differently?: Start breathing every stroke right off the bat, and keep working on taking a better outside line to avoid the craziness of the start bunch. Transition 1
Comments: Felt light headed after the swim, nearly threw up on my transition towel... That would not have been fun coming back to after the bike. Had a nightmarish time getting my tri-top on since i was still wet. I hadn't practiced swimming with it on under my wetsuit, so i didn't do it on race day. What would you do differently?: Swim with tri-top on... nearly impossible to get on while soaking wet from the swim. Bike
Comments: Should have pushed a little harder, but tried to save something for the run. Transition 2
Comments: Felt fast in transition... Should have emptied my pockets a little more though... Runningwith a cliff bar bouncing around back there was a little distracting. Run

Up @ 5AM ... had half a bagel with peanut butter and headed for the race (30 min away from our hotel).
Short 150 yd swim... Unfortunately it was abou 30 min before my start, so it didn't really work as a warm up
