Best swim performance in this race yet. Beat my previous best swim time by over 1 minute. Felt good.

Overall did as well as I could expect. Again, shaved a minute off my previous best time on a challenging course. Only problem was nearing turn back into neighborhood, the cops had stopped a bunch of trucks, which COMPLETELY blocked the lane. I had to come to a near dead stop, then pass through the grass on the right. Easily lost about 10 seconds on that part alone. Very frustrating, especially since it seemed to only affect about 2-3 of us racers.

Legs felt weak throughout the run, and humidity was so high it made breathing kinda tough, as well. I had just started to get my stride when it ended.

I have heard it said that this race is the hardest sprint in the state, and possibly the country. Having done it 3 times now, I can certainly say it is far more difficult than any other sprint I've done.
