Comments: Atlanta Marathon! Had a great time, but took a few minutes longer than I wanted. Legs/knees started hurting some at about 18 miles and it got tough at about 22. Lots of hills on the course, but well staffed with volunteers. 37 when we started and mid-high 50's when we finished. Nutrition plan worked like a charm. 1 gel before start and 1 every hour. 3 enduralytes every hour on the half-hours (30mins after a gel). Plenty of fluids and took the camel bak carrier. Refilled about mile 16. Compression socks were great. I cold-gear shirt was perfect for the temps (maybe a bit warm at the end). Wore compression pants for the remainder of the day and the next day. Legs were sore until about Wed, but not bad. Post race
