Pre-race routine:

Drove down the morning of the race. Had to park about a mile away and ride my bike over. Blew a tire on the way and had to have it fixed at the race.

Got it a much better swim then I did last year at the same race. Improved by almost 5 minutes and did freestyle the whole way.

Wasn't going as fast as I wanted to...my blown tire was fixed but it was warped so that was bothering me and I was afraid to go fast down hills. Blew another tire about a mile left in the race and rode on a flat for a mile. Was not happy with my overall bike performance.
What would you do differently?:

Need to make sure my tires don't blow!

Legs were toast. Was hoping to break 9 minute miles and didn't come close. I am happy to just run the whole time. Overall not happy with my run.
