Comments: This event was not chip timed so I don't have a break down for each leg! What would you do differently?: Nothing, it felt good! Transition 1
Comments: Slow transition! I actually felt a little dizzy. Had to sit down to dry my feet and put on shoes. Bike
Comments: I need to ride the biggest hills I can find! What would you do differently?: Push harder! Transition 2
Comments: T2 was much faster Run
Comments: I had trained hills leading up to this race but didn't anticipate it being this hilly! My left leg cramped about 3/4 mile in. It was rock hard! I finally just stopped and stretched/massaged it out good and then walked it off. Not sure what's causing it! Post race
Warm down: Just walked and stretched What limited your ability to perform faster: Left leg cramp Event comments: The Army knows how to organize and run an event! They did a GREAT job! Super organized and on time! The only fault I can give them is that this event was not chip timed! The course was VERY challenging. Even though it was only a Sprint Distance, with a little longer run, I think the longer distance competitors would enjoy it due to the hills! The last big one on the ride was actually more a small mountain, think Colorado foothill and you've got it! I would recommend this event to everyone but would encourage them to get chip timing for next year! Last updated: 2011-08-08 12:00 AM
