Swim
Comments: OK swim, came out of the water with a big pack. Started a little to the front this time. What would you do differently?: Go harder the whole time. Transition 1
Comments: Very happy everything came together.Only one person in my rack was out before me. What would you do differently?: Happy with the performance Bike
Comments: Very happy with the Bike. Saw someone wreck on the way out, as he tried to pass a person in front of me, (he had just passed him). Ended up in the pavement. No one passed me, and I was in the 3rd wave. Passed so many folks it was getting crazy on the way back. What would you do differently?: Go harder. Transition 2
Comments: When I got back there where only 2 bikes on my rack, and it seemed that our age group was packed together. What would you do differently?: nothing. Run
Comments: Only 2 people passed me, one was lisa walker. What would you do differently?: Keep doing speed work Post race
Warm down: Walked around What limited your ability to perform faster: Mental ability? Event comments: So a couple of things in closing. Did the same course in June, and my overall time was: 1:20:59 and my time in August was 1:18:31. So the improvement was 2 1/2 minutes faster. Nice. There was an irritating moment that still bothers me. When the results where posted I was 3rd in my age group, later when the medals where handed out I found out I was 4th due to a "math error" when I looked at the place racer's time, I don't agree with it. I know how many bikes where in the rack, and that nobody passed me on the run (males that is) and the 4th place run time was significantly slower than mine. So I'm wondering how it occurred (did he start in a different wave)? Anyway on to the next race. Last updated: 2011-08-18 12:00 AM
