Comments: Love this course! Third times and still flat, fast and a lot of cheering everywhere. Decided to not look at my HR datas and go only by RPE. Was doing very well until 17k mark when I suffered a bit. 1:45 pace bunny catch me and I decided to grab the train and push it. Last bit was "all out" and was very happy crossing the line in the 1:45 range. 2 years ago was 2:40... 1 hour gained in 2 years... not bad ;) What would you do differently?: Nothing, good nutrition, good pacing Post race
Warm down: Stretched, grab food and walked to keep the body moving What limited your ability to perform faster: I focused more on tri this season so I guess more speed training would have been nice, but, oh well, I'm very happy with what I've done :) Event comments: I'm sure I'll do it again next year... 4 year in a row ;) Last updated: 2011-08-19 12:00 AM

Same as usual, woke up, breakfast with cereal and bananas and off I went to the race.
some strides, jogged a bit and did a nice dynamic warm up. Then I went to my corral and waited for the gun.
