T1 area was on grass, so I slipped into my shoes and trotted out to mounting area

Run faster through the transition area and a faster running mount

Got turned around and tried to run out of the wrong gate ... overall probably cost me 45 seconds or so.

Better awareness of where to run in-out.

Warm down:

Strolled around - ate some peanut butter on wheat bread, drank lots of cold water

What limited your ability to perform faster:

The bad T2 mistake cost me 45 seconds or so ... otherwise it was a really fun event.

Event comments:

The volunteers could have been positioned at one or 2 more turns to keep people on the right track. Too, the staff were out there picking up course markers before the race was completely over. Perhaps there could wait another 30 minutes or so until all have finished.

Course: The course was an easy 10m course. There were 2 to 3 long pulls up hill, which being a Clyde absolutely killed my avg speed.
