Swim
Comments: Had an OK swim. Lost site of the finish area on the beach the last 400 meters. Did a lot of zig-zagging back to shore to find my way. Probably added an extra 100 meters to my swim. What would you do differently?: Focus more on finish location. Plan my route a little better pre-swim. Transition 1
Comments: Jogged from swim to bike area carefully since there were a lot of big rocks. Took my time and caught my breath from the swim. Didn't rush anything. What would you do differently?: Have clothes set out a little better. Have supplements prepared better. Bike
Comments: Bike was an in & out 1 loop course. Pretty flat, had a couple small hills at the beginning & end of the route. Nothing to difficult. Was able to meet my goal on the time. What would you do differently?: Start out a little faster. Took off slow. Need to spend more time in the saddle. Transition 2
Comments: Got off the bike pretty quick and was able to get to transition area quick since it was right where I came in. Was able to put on socks & shoes fast. What would you do differently?: Forgot to grab supplements on the run out... Run
Comments: Run was pretty flat. Started raining 2 miles into the run so that helped with cooling me off during the run. met my goal of doing the run in under 50 minutes. What would you do differently?: Nothing Post race
Warm down: Did a lot of walking since the hamstrings were tightening up. Had a couple banana's and a G2. What limited your ability to perform faster: Genetics Event comments: It was the 1st year for this race.
