Comments: Great transition, for me at least. I ran the entire way and got everything together fairly quickly. I laid everything out well during the prep time. What would you do differently?: Nothing! More practice and I'll get faster! Bike
Comments: It was fairly easy aside from some tight corners. What would you do differently?: Body glide! haha Transition 2
Comments: Accidentally stepped out of my shoe into some sand, so I had to take an extra few seconds to wash my foot off! What would you do differently?: Second towel to stand on. Run
Comments: I walked the first 1/4 mile or so. When I started running, it took about a mile before my legs loosened up. Lots of hills and misinformed volunteers... I don't know how many times one would say "One mile left!" Then five minutes later I would come across the mile marker or some similar situation! What would you do differently?: Not much! Post race
Warm down: Walked around, two massages and a chiropractic consult. Can't complain! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nutrition the night before. Event comments: Biggest complaint: They closed the T area at 7am, but my wave didn't start until 8:33. I didn't have a disposable water bottle and there wasn't any water available, so I didn't get a drink for the hr and a half before the race. Last updated: 2011-08-27 12:00 AM
