Comments: I wanted to go about 4 hours and overcooked it by 17 min. I paid for it later. My avg. watts were on target, but still overdid it. What would you do differently?: Back off pace. Transition 2
What would you do differently?: Not drop my Garmin band and have to double back. Run
Comments: Ran through 7 miles except when stretching out hamstring cramps, then started walking aid stations and uphills. Started out in the mid-8s and fell to mid-9s by mile 5. This is my poorest 1/2IM run ever. I attribute it to the brutal bike terrain and going 17 min faster than planned. Not sure I would have gotten more than 17 min back on the run, but certainly would not have hurt so badly. What would you do differently?: Pace the bike better. Post race
