Started wide to avoid trouble but narrowed angle when I realised I was having a good swim. Crowded around final turn but no problems.

Start nearer the action and push harder.

What would you do differently?:

Be prepared to guide suit over ankle with timing chip rather than standing on suit and pulling.

A much better time than I expected. Some issues with crowded hills and numpties stopping in the middle of the road. Lots of people not keeping right.

Must learn how to run with bike on grass downhill - transition area has serious slope. Stopped for a drink, didn't realise there was a drinks station at the start of the run.

Pretty pleased with my performance in my first Tri. Everything went according to plan and I loved it! Can't wait to do more races next year, but I will defo finish with the Skinnyman again. Loved it!
