Run
Comments: I can sum it up wit hone word...BRUTAL. My first run was at night. It was cool and over rolling hills, I mean Mountains. It only got worse from here. The overall fatigue got more and more prevalent as the climbs and descents grew more grueling. This was harder than any triathlon, or marathon that I have ever run. There were times I was running up hills that I realized I could probably walk at a faster pace. I'm coming back next year. It was very scenic and fun. Post race
Warm down: Ate as much food possible. We got one of the largest pizzas ever and crushed it....after unloading at a BBQ joint. Event comments: This was an awesome experience. Our 2 support vans were designed as sharks, and we blared the Jaws theme for the entire 30 hours. It was sweet. Last updated: 2011-09-10 12:00 AM
