Comments: i had a GU with caffeine 5 minutes before start, and then a half of one at mile 5. I had powerade at 2 water stops and water at one of them. I did not have the whole second Gu, because i felt like it might make me throw it up. the hills really taxed me more than i expected. What would you do differently?: still need more miles, as well as some hill work Post race
Warm down: walk around looking for my partner. then went to McDonalds, then went back to cheer for marathoners What limited your ability to perform faster: training. Event comments: Overall i missed my goal of 70 minutes. However i was only basing my goal on the fact that i can run 7:15 miles for a 10k in and Olympic Tri. I pushed it as hard as i had in me. I am content almost happy with my result. I improved my time from last year, by 12 minutes, so it just re-inforces the training i have been doing. I will continue to improve and increase my mileage.
