Swim went well overall, I got a little off course after rounding the last bouy. It was the first time I had done an open water swim like this.
What would you do differently?:

Work on my navigation and overall pace

Did okay, I wasn't rushing myself here. I was a little dizzy from the swim. I definitely could cut off time here.
What would you do differently?:

Practice a couple of times before the race. Get a racebelt for the numbers. clip shoes on bike?

This was my worst event, for this race. My pace was just too slow
What would you do differently?:

Considering getting clip on aero bars; I didn't train on the bike enough in the weeks preceding the event.

Need to work on jumping off the bike while moving, and general haste

Went pretty well, except I got a horrible stitch in my side at the beginning of the race and had to go pretty slow till I worked through it. Second half of the run, I picked up the pace and finished strong
What would you do differently?:

Eat more potassium? It would have been a lot better had I not gotten that stitch

Only two weeks of continual training and drinking heavily two nights prior.

Good first ever triathlon. Have some things to work on but did pretty okay for the first go around
