Swim
Comments: My shoulder has been bothering me so my stroke was off. My timing strap fell off about half way through and I had to stop to get it. The water was about 3 feet deep at this point, so strap was easy to find and put back on. What would you do differently?: I just need to practice swimming faster. Transition 1
Comments: 1.33, by my watch, from swim exit to bike mount. What would you do differently?: nada Bike
Comments: The good news is I only got passed by one person. The bad news is he was in my age group. What would you do differently?: Train harder Transition 2
Comments: Nice transition. I am happy. What would you do differently?: Nada Run
Comments: The good news is I was only passed by one person. The bad(?) news is it was a female. The good(?) news is she was the overall women's winner. There was only one aid station and no mile markers. (Strike 3) I didn't expect a lot of aid stations but, there should have been more than the one. What would you do differently?: Maybe a few more brick sessions. Post race
Warm down: Walked around and sampled some My Fit Foods. It took over 30 minutes to get any preliminary results posted. When I asked the race director about results, she told me they would not be posted until after the last racer crossed finish line. When I asked about "unofficial results" she said she would look into it. What limited your ability to perform faster: Me Event comments: For a sprint tri, I think there should be at least 2 aid stations for the run. One at the start of the run and one near the middle. The whole thing seemed as if a few people got together and said, "Let's put on a triathlon next month." It was the inaugural race so maybe next year there will be some improvement. I doubt I will do this race again. Last updated: 2011-09-16 12:00 AM

Did my usual. Woke up at 4:45, took a shower, got dressed, ate a PB&banana sandwich, then started getting everything loaded up and on the road by 5:45. I arrived at the site by about 6 and noticed there were no parking spots any where. (Strike 1) Finally found a spot about a mile away and rode bike to transition. Racked bike, set up and got body marked.
Waited in line for about 25 minutes to use one of the six port-a-cans they had
for about 300 athletes. (Strike 2) While waiting I just stretched and talked and noticed they did not have enough volunteers and just seemed unorganized.
