The James River was nice and warm. I settled in to my stroke pretty easily and just swam. It's probably one of the best race swims I've had this season. I swam a bit wide after the last turn to get away from this one chick, but otherwise, good swim.

There was about a .25 mile run from the swim to the transition area, so that was thrown in with the T1 time. Everyone's T1 times are insanely high because of it.
What would you do differently?:

Remember to take shot blox/nutrition.

Nice ride - mostly flat with a few small hills. Great course except for the in/out towards transition. A few potholes and rough road.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more. This really affected my run.

Missed my rack - really need to figure out a way to mark that thing. Realized it quickly and got racked and moving out of T2 as fast as I could.
What would you do differently?:

Mark the rack with something to be able to spot it better.

I got a bad side cramp about 1.5 miles into the run and no matter what I did, it wouldn't go away. Otherwise the run went well.
What would you do differently?:

Drink more on the bike, remember to take in nutrition during T1. Looking back, these two things really affected my run.

I'd definitely consider doing this race again.
