Comments: Good run, PR for me on the half marathon. Good run after being injured. Ran the first mile, then Ran 1/2 mile, walked 1 minute. Kept up this pace throughout the race. Overall, that worked out well. About mile 8-9 my right foot plantar started hurting a bit when running on the left side of the road. I tried to stay on the right side of the road to ease the issue. What would you do differently?: Nothing, good run for the lack of training leading into the race and the injury issues. Post race
Warm down: walked around and talked to everyone. What limited your ability to perform faster: Injury and training. Event comments: Good race and a lot of support. It's always a fun race. This year they ran out of post race food and drinks, which was horrible (I was starving at the time, no food or beer).
