Chop and swells affected my swim. Heavy smell/taste of gasoline. !st buoy a long ways out. Held on to kayak 3 xs.
What would you do differently?:

More open water swim, practice sighting, practice rough water swim

Bike course was fine. I enjoyed it. Good course for my stengths, though I would prefer fewer turns. Swim was hard for me. I need to prepare more for next race. Nothing special for finish of Aquabike. No finish line, or announcing of name. I had to ask for finishers medal. Did include Aquabike in awards. Won a beer glass for 2nd place :-)
