Swim
Comments: The swim felt great, so I am surprised that my swim time was this slow. What would you do differently?: Push the swim a bit harder. Transition 1
Comments: Long run (200 yards fast) to transition where the ankle chip was physically placed on the biker. The biker then had to run in shoes (another 100 yards) to the next timing mat and the start of the bike portion. What would you do differently?: Nothing faster I could do here. Bike
Comments: Three loop course with some hills. Good, respectful riders. What would you do differently?: More hill climbing in training! Transition 2
Comments: Another long run with nike shoes to the runner where the ankle strap was swapped again. What would you do differently?: Nothing Run
Comments: Great 5k for my daughter Sara. She is only 15, and had never ran that distance before! What would you do differently?: Drink more, and use water to pour over body. Post race
Warm down: Ate great burgers provided by TNT. What limited your ability to perform faster: Some really awesome swimmers! Event comments: This race was very well run compared to previous years. This mimics, if not surpasses Ironman events. Great volunteers, great race director and a small town atmoshere! What more do you need? Last updated: 2006-04-25 12:00 AM
