Run
Comments: I knew this would be tough and it didn't disappoint. I think there were two real long inclines that were pretty steep. There also was a long decline that varied in steepness that had you barreling down for about a half mile. Then there were a lot of short and steep rollers that really got your legs moving when descending them. A total trail run, the course goes from grassy, to rocky, to roots, woodchips...a little bit of everything. I like the softness of trail running, but you really have to look down alot to avoid turning an ankle or worse on this course. A little different and challenging but I liked it. Post race
Event comments: A beautiful park and it was well run. Last updated: 2011-10-02 12:00 AM

A 10:00 AM start was fine by me and I only live about 10 minutes away. Not enough port pottys so I did my "warm up" in the woods that were everywhere.
